Programming Workshop - Learning Next.js and Garchi CMS

This programming boot camp will be useful to enhance your Next.js skills and Headless CMS knowledge.

About this event

When it comes to web app development, things have become more advanced and modern. Thanks to cloud technology and API driven architecture. Headless CMS has become a game-changer in web development. The basic concept is you have a SaaS or normal web app which is called CMS (Content Management System). Through this CMS you do CRUD (create, read, update and delete) operations on your data using a user-friendly dashboard. Then you serve this data on a mobile app, web app or any other app using APIs.

That's headless CMS in nutshell. Not to mention JAM stack has made life super simple when it comes to web development. With modern frameworks like Next.js which is a React framework, creating a full-stack robust web app has become exciting and straightforward.

In this 2 days workshop, we will learn all about Next.js and Garchi CMS which is a headless E-Commerce CMS.

On day 1 we will have an online boot camp where we will cover Next.js basics and on day 2, it will be an offline event where we will use our skills to create a simple e-store using Next.js and Garchi CMS. We will make our store aesthetically good looking with some magic of Tailwind CSS.

The offline event will be at Fraser House, Lancaster, LA1 4XQ.
